2019 Summer Grant Finalist

The Summer 2019 Wendy Wagner Foundation Review Committee and Board of Directors were thrilled with the number and quality of applicants for the second round of giving. Thank you for taking the time to apply. Each round we intend to expand our scope and programming to further the cause of creativity in Houston and we need your participation to make that happen! Please, tell your friends and colleagues about us and our upcoming grants.

An outstanding factor with all of the top finalists involved creativity. Whether it be in use of materials, combination of disciplines, unique practice, ability to bring in new ideas to their work, way of exploring or their way of connecting, these women are celebrating creativity.

Reducing our list from ten finalists to five proved so difficult we stopped at six. This week with further research and discussion we will choose one of the following dedicated artists as The Summer 2019 Wendy Wagner Foundation Grant Winner:

Lina Dib

L Janelle

Laura Spector

Melinda Laszczynski

Susannah Mira

Sandra York
